Tulle and Ruffles!

Hi everyone! I just thought I would do a little editorial on all the very fabulous things that are exciting in the Bridal industry right now!

A wedding, beside being the single most important day in a womans life, is also the perfect chance to show off the very fashionable styles that are hot right now! Lately nothing has been more fashion foward and exciting as big ruffled skirts! We are seeing it from all our favorite designers like Paloma Blanca and Watters, not to mention of course all those fabulous pictures I know you all see in the latest magazines. It seems that the feminine and fun side of bridal gowns is making a comeback! So as we move forward to the next bridal market, I'm thinking that the next hot look is going to keep with the theme of femenine and fun by bringing tulle back as a center piece of gowns. The skirts will contiue to be a little bit fuller, maybe with some classic lace details.

Even with all these modern twist on gowns and even as the skirts return to being full, there are still always the classic vintage styles that I think will always continue to please all those brides to be. The fitted all lace gowns for those a little more traditional, as well as the more modern rouched aline gowns that are so simple and elegant. There is a gown out there for everyone. The imortant thing is that you find one that shows off your style!

Hi everyone! So sorry about the recent website difficulties but we are as you see up and running once again! Things are moving along at a great pace for The Perfect Bride!

We have lots of new Bridesmaids and Mother gown trickling into the store as I type! Also, we are getting to the end of our time with the Rina di Montella samples as the inventory we ordered is starting to appear. Coren Moore has introuduced a new fabric to their beautiful line of bridemaids called refined silk, it is very lovely, and as you may know with a new fabric comes fantastic new colors! New from Watters Brides is the style Escalante which is very Grace Kelly a sort of modern twist on a very classic style, and I can't wait to see someone in it!

So in addition to the Fabulous Paloma Blanca Trunkshow this weekend, I have lots of news about My trip with Cathy to NYC Market this past weekend. We saw all of our favorite designers and the new collection for Fall of 2010. There are some amazingly new and fresh styles on their way to The Perfect Bride. We saw Paloma Blanca which of course was perfect, Watters and Watters Brides, Wtoo Brides, Modern Trousseau, and of course Ms. Ellen from Rina di Montella, and just for a teaser here is one of the new gowns from Rina's fall line.

This fabulously cut silk taffeta gown with an impeccable beaded bodice and beaded trim on the hem is sure to peak any brides interest!

Not only did we check out Bridal of course there are great new bridesmaids dresses on the way as well as great new accessories such as these shoes from Grace
